Our founder was always strict about her daughter's diet, sugar was not an option for her. That all change when Thereasa was deployed away from her daughter for 13 months when her daughter was only 2 years old. When her daughter began seeing other kids eating sweets, she too wanted to indulge. With few sugar free-treats, her daughter's caretakers decided to just give her cane sugar filled desserts. So when Thereasa returned from deployment she decided to launch a new business that would allow her daughter to enjoy treats, without filling her up with cane sugar and so
Amore Congelato was formed. Soon after, the name was changed to Bon AppéSweet
